WWFM Job Outreach Program

WWFM adheres to fairness in hiring regarding EEO regulations. Procedures include advertising in newspapers and trade magazines, on-air announcements and Internet announcements via the WWFM web site, the Mercer County Community College web site and other industry job listings sources. In addition, WWFM airs the New Jersey Broadcaster Association EEO community outreach announcement on a regular basis. Women and minorities are always encouraged to apply for job vacancies. When they do, qualified minority applicants are interviewed for the open position. WWFM participates in job fairs as part of its outreach efforts, in addition to making available student internships through Mercer County Community College. Information concerning job openings is widely disseminated through Mercer County Community College's EEO procedures. Documentation of such and the resulting search is kept on file for each vacancy filled through MCCC EEO procedures, with which WWFM is required to comply.

WWFM and Equal Employment Opportunity

WWFM is dedicated to equal employment opportunities in broadcasting. We want all persons who are qualified to know about and apply for job openings that WWFM has available. If you belong to or know of any community organizations that help people find jobs, we want to know about them, so that when a job opening becomes available at WWFM we can notify that group, and the organization can notify all of its members who would like to know about and apply for jobs in radio. Please tell these organizations to contact WWFM at 609-587-8989 to be placed on the job opportunity employment listing service. This job listing service is a Free Equal Employment Opportunities Outreach program in association with WWFM and the New Jersey Broadcasters Association. Remember to contact WWFM at 609-587-8989 if your community group would like to be notified of any job openings at WWFM The Classical Network.
