The Foyer of the Forgotten with Paul-André Bempéchat

A new program featuring unsung voices, The Foyer of the Forgotten, or the Salon des oubliés, will revive lesser-known composers' works. You're invited to join host Paul-André Bempéchat Saturdays at 9 pm.
A newly-settled resident of our area, pianist Paul-André Bempéchat's program, The Foyer of the Forgotten projects his Harvard-based research project into the survival of European minorities via music and literature. He graduated from Juilliard and Boston University, and in comparative literature at the Sorbonne, and is the author of the founding biography of the Breton Impressionist, Jean Cras, "Jean Cras, Polymath of Music and Letters." As soloist, he has performed at major philharmonics, the Vienna, Caramoor and Holland Festivals, and continues to give masterclasses nationally and internationally. Dr. Paul teaches at the Westminster College of the Arts of Rider University.
