As the Coronavirus epidemic led to closures and shut-downs around their hometown of Lawrence, Massachussetts, Anna Wiliams and Misha Veselov, the violinist and cellist of the Neave Trio, faced the cancellation of more than their trio's performances - they were among those couples who had to put off their wedding plans. The couple thought about ways to use their music to help others, and when a friend brought to their attention a local nurse who was in self-quarantine, they performed a sidewalk concert outside her home as a thank-you for her dedication, including the songs Stand By Me and Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
A video of the concert went viral and even made the local news. More importantly, the couple said, it reminded them of why they chose to pursue music in the first place.
