A Tempo: New Orchestra League President Looks Back on a Year of Change

When the League of American Orchestras announced last April that Simon Woods would take over as President and CEO later in the year, few could imagine that the shut-downs that had just begun to ripple through the classical music world because of the Coronavirus pandemic would be the beginning of a full year of challenges and change. This Saturday on A Tempo  (3/13 at 7 pm), host Rachel Katz interviews Woods  about the impact of the pandemic and growing calls for social justice and diversity over the past year on orchestras and the path forward.

Simon Woods comments on the role orchestras can play in society.

Rachel Katz is the host of A Tempo which airs Saturdays at 7 pm.
