When a cast of has-been actors attempt to revive their careers in this full-length comedic murder mystery, "Drop Dead!" directed by "Wonder Child of the Broadway Stage" Victor Le Pewe, side-splitting antics ensue. The set falls apart, props break, and the producer and an actor meet an untimely demise ... but the show must go on. And so it does. Even as the curtain opens for the cast's debut performance, the murders continue and the play goes incredibly wrong. It's up to the remaining thespians to save the show, their careers, solve the mystery and stay alive for curtain calls.

PA Sinfonia welcomes you to its first concert opera. Performing with the chamber orchestra will be vocal performers, Johnathan McCullough, Ashley Milanese, and Giovanni Marini. Dr. Christopher Jackson is our guest conductor. Dr. Jackson is the Artistic Director and Conductor for the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. The performance is "La Serva Padrona" (The Maid Turned Mistress) by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. This short comedic opera has a cast of only three characters and is a tale of a cunning maid who conspires to win the heart of her testy employer.
This Austin-based quartet draws on their Latin American heritage (Cuba and Chile) for their original music rooted in rhythmic interplay and sophisticated harmonic textures. The band consists of Chilean Alexa Torres on violin, Cuban Mario Wellmann on guitar, bassist Guillermo Lopez (who has performed with Helen Sung, Ted Nash and Kurt Elling, among others), and drummer Daniel Dufour (who has performed with Randy Brecker, Delfeayo Marsalis and Seamus Black, among others).

Returning to GatherNYC for the second time, The Westerlies, a singular brass quartet with "a unique reputation for exploring the emotional textures of American music" across sounds and traditions (DownBeat), return to GatherNYC to celebrate the release of their EP Songbook, Vol. 3, a typically virtuosic and eclectic homage to the compositions of their many high-profile friends and collaborators. These nine arrangements showcase not just an ensemble at the peak of their musical powers, but one that is deeply committed to connection and community onstage and off of it.
GatherNYC is a revolutionary concert experience founded in 2018 by cellist Laura Metcalf and guitarist Rupert Boyd. The 2025-2026 season includes 31 concerts that run from October 2025 through May 2026, with concerts held every Sunday at 11am in The Theater at MAD.
Guests at GatherNYC are served exquisite live classical music performed by New York’s immensely talented artists, artisanal coffee and pastries, a taste of spoken word, and a brief celebration of silence. The entire experience lasts one hour and evokes the community and spiritual nourishment of a religious service – but the religion is music, and all are welcome. Coffee and pastries are served before each performance at 10:30am.
