We welcome a new partner to the illustrious roster of conservatories, universities and colleges that make this program unique –one of the most respected music schools in the country The Eastman School of Music part of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. For this initial program we’ll be sampling from some recent recordings featuring the esteemed ensembles at Eastman. They’ll perform music by longtime professor of composition at Eastman, Samuel Adler, Puerto Rican-American composer Roberto Sierra and composer, trumpeter and conductor of the Rochester Pops Orchestra, Jeff Tyzik.
