The Dress Circle: "Happy Places" from the Musicals

With all of the negative news flying about, most of us need a “happy place” to which we can escape to hide from the madness.  This week’s Dress Circle (4/22  7:00 p.m.) will offer up some happy places that are found in a variety of musicals.   Join us as we head to “Never Never Land” with Peter Pan, “My Own Little Corner” with Cinderella, and “Loveland” from “Follies.”

You may also be pleased to know that “There Are No Cats in America” as the immigrants hoped in “An American Tail,” you can go “Somewhere That’s Green” with Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors,” or you can just “Leave the World Behind” and take-off with the cast of “Steel Pier.”  We’ll also be visited by casts from “Newsies,” “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves,” “On the Twentieth Century,” and “Pagan Love Song” among others.  You’ll always have a safe and happy place in The Dress Circle.

Michael is program host and host of the WWFM Sunday Opera, Sundays at 3 pm, and co-host of The Dress Circle, Sundays at 7 pm.
