A Tempo: Westminster Choir College Continues Cherished Holiday Tradition Despite 2020 Challenges

Since 1992, Westminster Choir College has brought music of the season to the community through its annual Readings and Carols, which has become a highly anticipated part of the holiday season for those in the Princeton, NJ area. This year has brought challenges to the school, including its move by Rider University to Rider's Lawrenceville campus and restrictions on large gatherings and live performances. Nevertheless, the school's faculty and students came together to create a virtual edition of the holiday program, using a combination of small-group, socially distanced recording sessions both inside and out, remote recording and even a drone to capture some images.

A Tempo gets a sneak peak at what's in store, as host Rachel Katz speaks with Westminster professors James Jordan and Jason Vodicka and with student Lillie Judge about the experience of recording the program that will be shared online with the community.

Rachel Katz is the host of A Tempo which airs Saturdays at 7 pm.
