Composer Justin Dello Joio and pianist Garrick Ohlsson are Jed Distler's special guests on this week's episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys.
This episode will feature Dello Joio's exciting piano concerto Oceans Apart in its world premier performance recorded in January 2023, featuring Ohlsson as soloist with Alan Gilbert conducting the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Ohlsson also will be heard in solo works by Dello Joio and Chopin.
