Concert Broadcast Looks Ahead to Celebration of Princeton Symphony Maestro's 60th Birthday

This special concert broadcast Friday (1/3 at 8 pm) featuring performances by the Princeton Symphony Orchestra also previews the ensemble's upcoming celebration of long-time Music Director Rossen Milanov's 60th birthday. (This program will also air Monday Jan. 6 at 8 pm and Saturday Jan. 11 at 2 pm).

This Friday evening at 8 on a special The Classical Network in Concert celebrates not only one of our longtime broadcast partners, The Princeton Symphony Orchestra, but also its longtime Music Director Rossen Milanov, a voice you’ve heard often on this station. He turns 60 following the orchestra's next concert series Jan. 12-13, and on this week's broadcast, host David Osenberg will have a fun, informal chat with Rossen, who will answer questions digging into his musical world, career, opinions, passions and plans. In addition, the broadcast will also preview the upcoming concerts, feature a conversation with the world-class violin soloist who will be the PSO’s guest artist, and include performances of music by Mozart, Rachmaninov, Martinu, Beethoven, Brahms, Puccini and Mahler.

David Osenberg is WWFM Partnership Manager, WWFM Music Director, Afternoon Host, and Host of award-winning Cadenza.
