The east coast has finally experienced what many areas of the country have been experiencing for months: winter! To celebrate this past week before it gets overly warm again, this week’s Dress Circle (1/21 7:00 p.m.) turns to the musicals for songs about winter, ice, cold, snowflakes, snowmen, and snow in general, both real and allegorical.
We’ll be turning to songs from sixteen musicals including “Meet Me in St. Louis,” “Frozen,” “White Christmas,” and “I Do! I Do!”.
Of course, we’ll be looking at some of the less familiar or forgotten musicals like “Celebration,” “Pickwick,” “House of Flowers,” “Radio Gals,” and “Anya” and others.
Winter with The Dress Circle is great because you don’t need a scarf, gloves, and heavy coat, and you certainly won’t need to shovel anything!
