Last week in NYC the third International Historic Brass Symposium took place. It is a symposium primarily for scholars, with peer reviewed papers presented. BUT, there were also wonderful performances by internationally acclaimed soloists This week we will hear some of those performers: Bruce Dickey, cornetto; Michael Collver, cornetto; Patrick Wibart, ophecleide and serpent; Adrien Ramon, cornet; John Foster, Baroque Trumpet; and the Opus 333 Saxhorn Quartet.
