This month's edition of Kids on Keys, hosted by the Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler features the following young pianists: Kiko Yoshihira (student of Georgiana Rosca), Sara Liu (student of Ingrid Clarfield), plus Sophia Chen and Sofia Mouchtaris (students of Sophia Agranovich). The program also includes recordings of two seventeen-year-old virtuosos at the start of their respective careers: Vladimir Ashkenazy and Evgeny Kissin.
Airing each first Saturday of the month at 1:00 PM, Kids on Keys spotlights some of the best young piano talent in The Classical Network’s immediate broadcast region of Central and Southern New Jersey, and features performances recorded at Jacobs Music Company's Lawrenceville showroom, among other locations.
