Two years ago, The Classical Network launched Kids on Keys, a monthly program spotlighting some of the best young piano talent in the station's immediate broadcast region of Central and Southern New Jersey. On Saturday June 1st at 1:00 PM, WWFM.org will observe the show's second anniversary with a rebroadcast of Kids on Keys' very first episode, originally aired in 2017.
This episode showcases performances from the Steinway Society of South Jersey’s Young Pianist Competition Finals and Winners Concert that took place at Stockton University on April 23rd 2017. Featured pianists include John Zhang, Vishal Raman, Emma Liu, Evelyn Liu, John Kim, Elizabeth Yang and Hans Derek Yu. In addition, we'll hear a rare recording by the teenage Daniel Barenboim.
