Pn the program the rarely performed Eight Instrumental Miniatures, orchestrations by the composer of a set of short piano pieces he originally titled ‘The Five Fingers’, also his Concerto in Eb known as ‘Dumbarton Oaks’ and the complete 1920 ballet and work that ushered in the composer’s and music’s neo-classic style, Pulcinella.
