The Dress Circle: Musicals by Bob Merrill

b_merrill_montage.jpg

We love to celebrate composers whom we feel are overlooked, and on this week’s Dress Circle (10/13 7:00 p.m.), we’ll be doing just that as we look at the work of Bob Merrill.  Included in the program are songs from his hits like “New Girl in Town,” “Carnival,” “Funny Girl,” and “Sugar” along with some of the lesser known works like “Take Me Along,” “Henry, Sweet Henry,” and the truly bizarre “Prettybelle.”  Join us for an hour of interesting music from an unsung composer whom we feel deserves more recognition.

Michael is program host and host of the WWFM Sunday Opera, Sundays at 3 pm, and co-host of The Dress Circle, Sundays at 7 pm.
