Half Past: Feb. 2 - Ariel Symphony

Sunday evening, 2-2 at 11:00 on Half Past we'll hear the Symphony No. 2, "Ariel" by Stephen Douglas Burton, inspired by poetry of Sylvia Plath.  Also on the program the song, A Letter, by Lee Hoiby set to an Emily Dickinson poem.  Music composed in the past half-century or so on Half Past.

Carl Hemmingsen is program host, and host of Half Past which airs Sundays at 11 pm and Curtis Calls which airs Mondays at 10 pm and Wednesdays at noon.
