For Early Music Month, it’s a tapestry of music from movies set in the Middle Ages, including “Becket” (Laurence Rosenthal), “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (Alfred Newman), “The Warlord” (Jerome Moross), and “The Lion in Winter” (John Barry). Barry’s contribution, a captivating blend of old and new, won the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1968. Plentiful intrigue and funny haircuts are guaranteed; but there’s nothing middling about the music. Barry and friends make history, this Friday at 6 pm.
