Princeton University Concerts Book Presents Diverse 'Ways of Hearing'

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Princeton University Concerts reached out to musicians, writers, scholars and other creative professionals in an effort to explore how creative people respond to music. The result is "Ways of Hearing," an anthology published by Princeton University Press that includes submissions from Jamie Barton, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Frank Gehry, Gustavo Dudamel and C.K. Williams, among others. A Tempo host Rachel Katz this Saturday (10/23 at 7 pm) speaks with the book's editors - Marna Seltzer, director of Princeton University Concerts; Scott Burnham, former Princeton University professor and currently music professor at The City University of New York; and Dorothea von Moltke, co-owner of Labyrinth Books in Princeton.
