A Tempo this Saturday (4/2 at 7 pm) features a conversation with Piffaro's long-time artistic co-directors Joan Kimball and Bob Wiemken as they look ahead to retirement, and with incoming artistic director Priscilla Herreid.

After 40 years, Piffaro The Renaissance Band will see a changing of the guard, as its artistic leadership team of Joan Kimball and Bob Wiemken step down at the end of this season. Kimball helped create the Philadelphia-based Early Music ensemble in 1980, and Wiemken joined two years later. This Saturday (4/2 at 7 pm) A Tempo host Rachel Katz welcomes them and incoming Artistic Director Priscilla Herreid for a conversation about the ensemble's past, its role in the Early Music world, and what's next in its musical journey.

Priscilla Herreid will become Artistic Director of Piffaro next season.
