A Tempo this Saturday (3/4 at 7 pm) previews the 2023-2024 seasons of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Opera Philadelphia.

Classical performing arts organizations have begun unveiling their plans for their 2023-2024 seasons, and in many cases, the repetoire is becoming more diverse, offering a mix of new music and overlooked works from the past, often by women or composers of color, as well as some of what has been more traditional fare. In the Philadelphia region, both the Philadelphia Orchestra and Opera Philadelphia will offer just such a diverse range of performances.

Host Rachel Katz will speak with Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center President and CEO Matias Tarnopolsky and Opera Philadelphia General Director David Devan.

Philadelphia Orchestra Music and Artistic Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin

Rachel Katz is the host of A Tempo which airs Saturdays at 7 pm.
