For this week's episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, The Classical Network's Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler explores The Netherlands' rich piano culture.
"For some reason I hadn't thought of devoting an entire episode to Dutch pianists," Jed explains. "But then a listener asked me why I hadn't! So here we go!"
Featured pianists include Ivo Janssen, Maurice van Ijzer, Hannes Minaar, Jeroen van Veen, Theo Bruins, Hans Henkemans, Ralph van Raat, Marcel Worms and, of course, the legendary Egon Petri.
