First of Two Princeton Festival Baroque Concerts Airs Friday

The Princeton Baroque Orchestra this Friday (6/3) performs the first part of its two-concert "Sacred & Profane" series in this broadcast from the 2021 Princeton Festival .

This week's Friday night concert looks back on the 2021 Princeton Festival in the first of two broadcasts of last year's "Sacred & Profane" concert series. This week's offering of sacred music includes works by Vitali, Frescobaldi, Castello, Locatelli, Kerll, Handel, Biber, and the rare female Baroque composer, Isabella Leonarda. Host David Osenberg will also chat with Princeton Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Marc Uys about this year's festival, which opens June 10.
