Music for Spring from The Orchestra Now Monday Night

This recent performance from earlier this month celebrates the freshness of nature and the blooming Spring around us. The two major works are the Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral” of Beethoven and the infamous ballet The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky. The program also features The Dawn of Spring by the early 20 ^th century Austrian-British composer Egon Wellesz.
