Cello, da!  Join Ross Amico for two concertos by musicians of Eastern European origin:  Latvian-Russian composer Carl Davidoff (dubbed by Tchaikovsky “the Tsar of the Cello”) and Soviet composer of Polish-Jewish heritage Mieczyslaw Weinberg (promoted by Shostakovich as “one of the most outstanding composers of the day”).  Tune in for a Russian cellobration, this Sunday at 10 pm.
