People of Earth! We come in peace!
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” (November 16, 1977) and the 35th anniversary of “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” (June 11, 1982), we’ll hear music by John Williams for friendly visitors from other worlds. Also featured will be selections from “Cocoon” (James Horner) and “The Day the Earth Stood Still” (Bernard Herrmann), this Friday at 6 pm.
