Picture Perfect: January 5 - Soviet Cinema

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

In this season of frigid temperatures and raging snowstorms, we turn our attention to classics of Soviet cinema, including selections from “Agony” (Alfred Schnittke), “Time, Forward!” (Georgy Sviridov), “The Gadfly” (Dmitri Shostakovich), and “Alexander Nevsky” (Sergei Prokofiev).  If you think we’ve got it bad, try facing down a patriotic Nevsky on a frozen lake, this Friday at 6 pm.
