This week on the ASCAP Deems Taylor Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, The Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler presents his third and final program this year to mark the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy’s death in 1918.

“As with my two previous Debussy programs," says Jed, "I'll focus on comparative performances, where we can hear how two different performers approach the same work. I find this kind of back-to-back listening fascinating and instructive. Of course my dear friend and colleague David Dubal often does comparisons on his program The Piano Matters, but I might be a little more obsessive in my approach!"

Jed’s comparative Debussy pairings include Jeffrey Biegel and Samson François, Stephen Hough and Robert Casadesus, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Mitsuko Uchida, among others. Tune in on Tuesday November 27th at 10 PM , and delve into Debussy, only hear on The Classical Network and WWFM.org.
