IRIS Wired, The Classical Network's bi-monthly series of concerts by the IRIS Orchestra features a program An Hommage to Summer. Founder, conductor and Artistic Director Michael Stern conducts music by Hugo Wolf his Italian Serenade, Bela Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, Charles Ives' Ragtime Dances, a new work by Iris Orchestra hornist and Memphis native Robert G Patterson called Oasis and Antonin Dvorak's evergreen Wind Serenade.

Based in Germantown, Tenn., the IRIS Orchestra is made up of preeminent musicians from around the country and led by Maestro Stern, son of the legendary violinist.
