Celebrating Our Musicl Future begins its 11th season with very special broadcast from Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center in midtown Manhattan.
Solar Flare: world premieres by the 2019 Luna Composition Lab Fellows.
The Luna Compsotion Lab is for female-identifying composers ages 13-19. Five young composers are chosen to participate in the lab then their works are premiered by their peers who participate in Kaufman Music Center's 'Face the Music' program where young musicians perform music of our time. The Luna Composition Lab is directed by composers Ellen Reid & Missy Mazzoli.
