Host Deborah Simpkin King this Sunday (11/3 at 2 pm) shares selections from Considering Matthew Shepard by composer Craig Hella Johnson. The concert-length "fusion oratorio" relates the story of Matthew Shepard, the young, gay university student who was kidnapped in Laramie, Wyoming, beaten, tied to a fence and left to die in a field in October 1998. Conspirare performs in this recording.
