Celebrating Our Musical Future- Westminster Conservatory and Westminster Choir College

A very special concert that took place back on October 11,2019 in Bristol Chapel on the campus of Westminster Choir College in Princeton the exact birthday of the composer who was featured -  R. Nathaniel Dett. Dett, due to his African heritage, had to overcome racial bigotry, stereotypes and barriers. This concert of his choral works, songs and piano music will be performed by the Westminster Jubilee Singers under the direction of Vinroy Brown, Jr, the solo voice of Rochelle Ellis, professor of Voice at Westmisnter and Dett’s biggest champion pianist Clipper Erickson.
