Since summer officially begins on June 20th at 11:35 p.m., we’re going to be celebrating the summer solstice on this week’s Dress Circle (6/20 7:00 p.m.). To that end, we have “summer” songs from a variety of musicals. We’ll hear about “Some Summer Day” and find out what can happen on a “Summer Afternoon.” Don’t forget about those “Summer Nights” where we’ll hear about “A Thousand Summer Nights” while “A Song of a Summer Night” plays. Of course, if things go badly, one can always “Blame It on a Summer Night.” You’ll find out about a “Summertime Love,” "Summertime in Heidelberg,” and what generally happens “In Summer.” We’ll even throw in a “Summer Fancy” about "The Girls of Summer" for good measure. It’s all about the “Summer Sun” because, after all, it’s “Summertime”!
