The Dress Circle: Clean Those Windows

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Everyone has his or her own Kryptonite, and ours seems to be cleaning windows. However, we’ll be “Cleaning Those Windows,” metaphorically at least, on this week’s Dress Circle (5/15 7:00 p.m.) through songs about a variety of windows from the musicals.

As we “Look Through the Window,” we’ll see a “Candle in the Window” or perhaps “Paris Through the Window.” Listeners can experience the “Moon in My Window,” and “Moonlight Passing Through a Window” might even ask that “Love, Look in My Window.” So, join us as we “Open a New Window” as we’re “Waving Through a Window” while saying “Welcome to This Window.” Then, when we want to call it a day, we can always retire to “A Room without Windows” for good measure.

Some of the shows we’ll be turning to include “Gunmetal Blues,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “What Makes Sammy Run?”, “Romance, Romance,” “Hello, Dolly!”, “Mame,” “Do I Hear a Waltz?”, and “A Class Act” among others.

Our vocalists include Fran Allison, Jo Sullivan, Emily Loesser, Linda Eder, Ben Platt, Ethel Merman, Scott Bakula, Sally Ann Howes, Angela Lansbury, and many more.

Not only can we guarantee that metaphorically cleaning the windows for spring cleaning through songs from a variety of musicals is far easier than the actual task, it’s a heck-of-a-lot more melodic. Grab a libation, put up your feet, and “think” about the windows with us this Sunday evening.
