Ali G: Fooling Serious Interviewees, All for a Laugh

NPR's Robert Siegel talks to Sasha Baron Cohen -- aka Ali G, host of Da Ali G Show on HBO. Cohen, in the character of a Cockney-accented, dim-witted wannabe "wiseguy," regularly fools government officials and other interview subjects who believe he's a popular but unorthodox British "hip-hop journalist."
