In mid-March of 1990, 13 valuable works of art were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Art detective Harold Smith turned the case into a personal obsession.

Filmmaker Rebecca Dreyfus has created a documentary, Stolen, that tracks the 15-year-old case. The film will be shown again in April at the Independent Film Festival of Boston.
