A Tempo: New World Symphony Fellows Explore and Expand Career Paths

A Tempo this Saturday (3/23 at 7 pm) wraps up its two-week feature on the New World Symphony and its 31 years of training musicians for musical careers. This week host Rachel Katz focuses on the symphony's mission to provide career development, including expanded explorations of community outreach, alternative programming and entrepreneurial initiatives. Featured guests will include President and CEO Howard Herring, Vice President of Musician Advancement Cassidy Fitzpatrick, as well as two NWS alumni: Rebekah Heller, bassoonist and co-Artistic Director of the International Contemporary Ensemble, and Billy Hunter, Principal Trumpet with the Metropolitan Opera. 

Rachel Katz is the host of A Tempo which airs Saturdays at 7 pm.
