“From North Africa to North America” is a show where Alia Bensliman will be sharing with the viewers her journey as a
Tunisian artist who moved from a fairly homogenous culture to a very diverse and heterogenous melting pot that is the US. This move opened her eyes to new cultures, to different philosophies and views. It also allowed her to learn new techniques and methods. It gave her a feeling of freedom to spread her wings as an artist, to develop her skills and have a deeper understanding of herself and others.

The opening reception is on February 16th at 6:30pm at the Hutchins Galleries in the Lawrenceville School.
