Hear Beatles Classics and More During Concert by The Wag at the Upper Shores Library
Come together and hear some timeless Beatles tunes during “The Wag’s Beatles and More Show!” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at the Upper Shores Branch of the Ocean County Library.
This fun-for-the-whole family show will feature songs across the Beatles 10-year career as well as a few originals by the Wag. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Wag are no strangers to Fab Four music. A four-piece group themselves, they perform their Beatles tribute show annually at the Fest for Beatles Fans (the biggest Beatles festival on the East Coast), Abbey Road on the River (the biggest Beatles festival in the country), and at many different township functions and private parties.
Actor Wil Wheaton has said, “If the Beatles and the Cowsills got together backstage at Ed Sullivan, the Wag would totally be their child.”
This program will follow a general meeting of the Friends of the Upper Shores Branch at 6:30 p.m. which is open to the public. The Friends of the Library are a vital community resource that provides local support for Ocean County Library’s branches. Funds are used to expand programming at branches and support ongoing projects.
Registration is required for this free program. To register, visit tinyurl.com/BeatlesWagOCL, call 732-793-3996, or stop by the branch at 112 Jersey City Avenue, Lavallette. Space is limited.
