Narratives of the Cold War in Soviet Propaganda - Exhibit
The Gallery at Mercer County Community College's James Kearney Campus presents a historical collection of works organized by Professor of Art Yevgeniy Fiks through May 15, focusing on forgotten and unresolved Cold War narratives produced in the Soviet Union from the 1920s to the 1980s. Drawn from the Wayland Rudd Collection, the works depict the complex mapping of race and communism in the Soviet context, including propaganda that uses imagery that some may find difficult. The JKC Gallery is open Monday - Thursday 10 am to 1 pm.
