Ocean County Library’s 9th Annual Autism Resources Fair
The Ocean County Library is proud to host the 9th Annual Autism Resources Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at the Toms River Branch. The Fair will be geared toward all age groups.
Families affected by autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities will meet representatives from over 40 state, county, and local organizations, including schools, therapy centers, law firms, support coordination agencies, adult day habilitation programs, and more.
The Fair will feature activities for attendees, including:
• Drop-in coloring
• Drop-in crafts
• Drop-in Yoga with Miss Sarah (11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.)
• Balloon Art by Debbie Pease (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
• Therapy dogs (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office will provide free IDs to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Known as the CHILD Project, this program enables agencies throughout the country to identify your loved one in the event that they are missing. The service is available to people of all ages.
