This intensive sculpture workshop taught by artist German Acosta will lead participants through the creation of one small figure in water-based clay suitable for firing in a kiln. It includes a total of two studio days with a live model, six hours per day and a local art tour.

Immerse yourself in the art of figure sculpting with terracotta water-based clay suitable for firing in a kiln. In this dynamic workshop featuring a live model, she will keep a dynamic pose for two day to create a small figure sculpture in water-based clay
suitable for firing. This hands-on experience is designed for artists of all skill levels who wish to enhance their understanding of the human form, gesture and movement.

What You’ll Experience:

- Live Model Session: Sculpt from a professional model in a gestural pose, allowing you to capture the nuances of the human figure in real time.

- Guided Techniques: Learn essential sculpting techniques, including gesture, proportion, and form, to create lifelike representations.

- Personalized Instruction: Receive constructive feedback and tips from our experienced artist, tailored to your individual skill level and artistic goals.

- Creative Exploration: Experiment with different tools—to discover what works best for you.

- Tour to Greek Temple: It includes a quick tour to the Greek monument in Atlantic City. To analyze the sculpture “Liberty in Distress”

All Materials, tools included and parking in the WAVE Garage is included. Bring a sweater because the Air conditioning is strong at the Studios.
