Alex Otey
Volunteer Host: The Trenton Jazz ShowAlex Otey is a pianist, singer, trumpeter, composer/arranger, music producer and recording engineer who has performed with a number of prominent jazz musicians including Richie Cole, Lew Soloff, Sunny Stitt, and recorded with Grover Washington Jr. He has also appeared with the Wilmington Symphony along other classical music and theater settings throughout his career. Otey is founder and CEO of Ionian Productions, Inc. through which he has produced several widely acclaimed CDs. He is a member of the Philadelphia NARAS Chapter.
alex hosts The Trenton Jazz Show on JazzOn2 since August, 2014. The Trenton Jazz Show airs every third Sunday, 8-10pm, eastern; and, re-airs the following Wednesday, from 4-6pm, eastern.
