There also will be music, of course.
“In this difficult historic moment, I hope I'm being useful,” says Distler. “I’m sharing music that hopefully will stimulate the mind and lift the spirit, trying to inform and entertain at the same time. Plus I’ve been posting a daily link on my Facebook feed to webcasts of past Between the Keys episodes, for those who listen online. But this matters little when you think of all the health workers, food merchants and public officials who go to work each day and put their lives on the line for us. In moments like these I wish I was a doctor instead of a musician. On the other hand, music definitely has medicinal qualities.”
