The Classical Network in Concert this Friday night (4/13 at 8 pm) presents a special concert performance of works by Bach and Mendelssohn featuring Choral Arts Philadelphia and The Philadelphia Bach Collegium under the direction of Matthew Glandorf in "A Concert Tribute to Michael Korn."
The Pennsylvania-born choral conductor and organist founded the Philadelphia Singers in 1972 and, helping professional choristers across the country earn a living wage, he founded the organization that would turn into Chorus America. Korn passed away in 1991 from complications of HIV/AIDS. David Osenberg is your host for this concert broadcast.
