The American Composers Orchestra champions the composition and performance of new works. So as concert cancellations mounted amid the Covid-19 outbreak, it launched a new initiative pairing composers and performers for "Connecting ACO Community." Starting on April 19, a new work will be premiered live by a composer-performer team on Zoom, and then the work will be posted online. ACO President Ed Yim descirbes the program and the potential impact of this period on the new music world going forward.
