On this week’s episode of the ASCAP Deems Taylor Virgil Thomson Award winning program Between the Keys, the Classical Network’s Artist-in-Residence Jed Distler plays host to one of today’s most brilliant and gifted composers and pianists, Stewart Goodyear.
“Stewart is a genius,” says Distler. “He not only plays the piano at an amazingly high level, but his interpretations convey a most individual profile while doing full justice to the composer’s intentions. And his compositions are so creative and exuberant. I can never predict where his mind is going, yet I always take his assured craft and immense musicality in good faith.
