A Tempo: MasterVoices Opens Season with English Translation of Bizet's Original Carmen

A Tempo this Saturday (10/8 at 7 pm) checks in with MasterVoices to hear about its upcoming performance of the spoken-dialogue version of Carmen.

The New York-based MasterVoices chorus will stage the original musical theater version of Bizet's Carmen, using an English translation by Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick, for its opening performance this season, and A Tempo host Rachel Katz this week speaks with Conductor and Artistic Director Ted Sperling.
