Many of the stories told through the performing arts touch on people's relationships and journeys, and A Tempo this week looks at upcoming performances by two companies that focus on related themes. Host Rachel Katz will speak with Carolyn Dorfman Dance founding Artistic Director Carolyn Dorfman about its "Celebrate 40/NYC" performance, which marks the company's 40th anniversary and includes works reflecting the human condition, including some from her Legacy Project that explored her Jewish heritage, the Holocaust and immigration. The concert takes place June 12 and 13 at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre in New York.
