Scholars have long argued whether Mozart and Beethoven actually met while the younger Beethoven spent about two months in Vienna in 1787. A new play by Jack Canfora, which opens June 4 at at the New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch, looks at what the two musical giants might have discussed and debated.
